- $600K Base | Zero Competition | Build Your Own ENT Practice
Description
A county-owned critical access hospital in Southwest New Mexico is recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible ENT to establish and lead its first full-time otolaryngology program in over a decade. This is a true ground-floor opportunity in a market with significant unmet demand, where patients are currently leaving the region for both routine and urgent ENT care. You will step into immediate volume with no ramp-up required.
You will have full control to build your practice—clinic structure, scheduling, and surgical mix—supported by an engaged leadership team and strong referral network across multiple underserved counties. The hospital provides dedicated clinic space, full OR access with block scheduling, anesthesia support, and staffing of 3–4 team members per provider. Equipment and workflow are customizable, and infrastructure includes Athena (clinic), Meditech (hospital), and Dragon dictation, with AI scribe support under evaluation.
This role offers flexibility in both schedule and long-term practice design, including 4-day workweeks or block scheduling options. With minimal local competition, strong administrative support, and a mission-driven environment, this is a high-impact opportunity to build a sustainable, high-volume ENT practice while maintaining autonomy and work-life balance.
Why This Role?
- True Practice Autonomy: Build your clinic structure, surgical mix, and schedule without system-level bureaucracy
- Immediate Volume: 10+ years of unmet demand with patients currently leaving the region for care
- Strong Surgical Access: Full OR access with block time, anesthesia support, and customizable equipment
