Job description:
Join our dynamic and progressive cardiology group located in California! We are dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care to our community. Our team comprises passionate professionals committed to improving the heart health of our patients through comprehensive, compassionate, and cutting-edge medical practices.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our expanding practice in an outpatient and inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have a background in cardiology and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients in the outpatient setting including follow-ups and new consult.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' cardiovascular health.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our team of cardiologists.
- Supervise diagnostic procedures such as stress tests.
- Provide patient education on cardiovascular disease prevention, management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Current NP or PA license in the state of California.
- Preferred experience: cardiology, internal medicine and or critical care.
- Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- ACLS required.
