- Provider-Autonomous Nurse Practitioner
Description
ANP providers deliver, remotely, Primary and Urgent Care via clinically enabled telemedicine machine at Henrico County Jail, with seamless two-way video communication and examination capabilities, including otoscope, ophthalmoscope, stethoscope, and dermatological cameras.
ANP provider will manage SUD treatment, including opioid use disorder medications (Suboxone, Vivitrol, Methadone, etc.) under established protocols.
ANP provider will monitor treatment for newly incarcerated individuals who are already on a SUD regimen.
Hours to include 4 hours of remote clinic and two hours for administrative and SBAR responses, 6 hours each Henrico County work day (M-F, except weekends and holidays) Weekend and holiday call hours available but not required.
Computer and monitors provided for remote delivery of care. Office space available in Richmond if candidate would like an office setting for care delivery.
Prefer Richmond area provider but will consider qualified individuals outside the Richmond area. Availability for quarterly training in the evening would be required.
Requirements
Virginia licensed autonomous practice nurse practitioners (“ANP”), with 10+ years of experience with the following specialty categories:
- Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
