Are you a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact? Join our team at the Clay County Sheriff's Office! We are currently seeking a dedicated LPN to join us on a PRN (as needed) basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing essential medical care to inmates, offenders, and detainees within our facility. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of medical duties, including observing inmate behavior, responding to medical requests, and managing chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for medication administration, maintaining medical inventory, and ensuring the completion of necessary reports and documents.
Duties:
Assist with the medical needs of inmates.
Dispense appropriate medication as directed.
Assist with medical assessments.
Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current Florida LPN license and CPR card.
Must pass an extensive background investigation, including polygraph and drug test.
Proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding the English language.
Availability for a 12-hour shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays (as needed)*
