Syringa Hospital in North Central Idaho is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to staff our Primary Care Clinic in Grangeville.   Nurse Practitioner provides diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow-up under the supervision of a physician. The NP provides age and specialty appropriate medical care at the level of training achieved.  Provides quality of care through continuity and coordination of care from other providers and community resources.

Located between rolling green pastures, snow-capped mountains and beautiful river canyons, the Grangeville area features warm summer days, mild winters and four seasons of outdoor recreation.  Five major rivers cut through this diverse landscape offering a variety of seasonal recreation including world class fishing, superb whitewater rafting, golf, cross country and downhill skiing just minutes away.  The community is also the hub of a network of over 600 miles of groomed snowmobile trails.  Two national forests are right in your backyard. 

We are located approximately 200 miles north of Boise, Idaho, 180 miles south of Spokane, WA and 180 miles west of Missoula, MT.  Population of Grangeville is approximately 4000.  Our elevation is 3300 feet.  Winters are rather mild and the fall, spring and summer are beautiful.  We get a significant amount of rainfall in the spring months and average snowfall amounts with many sunny, cold winter days with daytime temperatures averaging about 40 degrees.  Overnight lows are between 20 and 32 degrees.

Requirements

        Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Idaho. 

        Current BLS certification required.  

        Current DEA certificate without restriction. 

        Controlled Substance Certificate from the Borad of Pharmacy.  

        Current ACLS certification is preferred.  

        Must maintain medical staff privileges with Syringa Hospital as approved by the medical staff and board of trustees.
