Empiric Health is a new tech enabled service empowering clinicians with the tools and support they need to make evidence-based care decisions.
Company History
Empiric Health's initial offering is based on the ProComp program at Intermountain Healthcare. This surgical services based initiative kicked off across Intermountain's 22-hospital system in early 2013. Three perioperative experienced ProComp nurses lead the service model today. This innovative approach has resulted in a reduction of over $90M in direct costs to date, and continues to deliver results.
The new company, Empiric Health, was formed following the strong interest from additional healthcare systems asking to have access to Intermountain's ProComp product.
