CHI Health and Creighton University School of Medicine are seeking a quality-driven, patient-centered Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our growing academic anesthesia team in Omaha, Nebraska.
This opportunity is ideal for CRNAs seeking a diverse, high-acuity practice with exposure to a broad range of surgical specialties, including trauma, while working alongside a collaborative team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, residents, and learners. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
As our department continues to grow, this is an exciting time to join our team. With our Anesthesiology Residency Program launching in 2026 and an SRNA program anticipated to begin next year, CRNAs will have unique opportunities to mentor and educate future anesthesia providers while pursuing leadership, teaching, and professional development opportunities within an expanding academic environment. This position provides the opportunity to maintain a diverse clinical practice while caring for patients ranging from routine outpatient procedures to complex, high-acuity surgical cases.
Practice Highlights
- Join a collaborative team of 23 anesthesiologists and 27 CRNAs
- Practice at a 391-bed Level I Trauma Center
- Academic medical center affiliated with Creighton University School of Medicine
- Approximately 20,000 anesthetics performed annually across the system
- Practice within a collaborative care team model
- EPIC electronic medical record
- Multiple scheduling options, including call and no-call positions
