Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)  OR Physician Assistant (PA)

Location: Progressive Health of Fayette | 1 St. Mark Place, La Grange, TX 78945

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications as permitted by state regulations, and provide preventive and wellness care. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, educating patients on health management, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Schedule: Two positions available: Full-time clinic days  / Coverage basis, as-needed (PRN)

Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Position Summary: Provide primary/family care to an established rural patient panel at a rural health clinic, under physician delegation per standard Texas APRN/PA practice requirements. Experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks) EHR system preferred.

Required Credentials:

o            Active Texas APRN license (Texas Board of Nursing) or Texas PA license

o            National certification (ANCC or AANP for FNP)

o            DEA registration eligibility

o            Current CPR/BLS certification

o            Eligibility for malpractice coverage

            Preferred: Rural health clinic (RHC) experience; prior independent patient panel management
