Description
Jordan-Young Institute is seeking a fellowship-trained Hand Surgeon to develop a high-volume practice focused on the hand, wrist, and elbow.
This is a distinctive opportunity to join a highly regarded multidisciplinary musculoskeletal group with an immediate referral base and significant unmet demand. Nearly 40 established Jordan-Young Institute providers currently refer many hand and elbow patients outside the practice and are ready to support the onboarding of a dedicated Hand Surgeon.
PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS Predominantly elective, referral-based practice No general ER or trauma call Immediate internal referrals and strong regional demand Opportunity to build the program and help lead future growth Path to partnership at two years Ancillary income opportunities, including ASC investment opportunities Private-practice compensation with optional research and teaching opportunities
Jordan-Young Institute includes accomplished orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, PM&R physicians, and primary care sports medicine physicians, many trained at leading academic programs. For physicians interested in a hybrid academic practice, the Jordan-Young Research Foundation provides research infrastructure, and teaching opportunities are available with EVMS medical students. Neither research nor teaching is required.
We are looking for a collaborative, patient-centered surgeon with excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality care. The first Hand Surgeon will have the opportunity to shape the program and, as volume grows, help recruit and onboard additional surgeons.
