Description
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed advanced practice registered nurse responsible for managing health problems and coordinating patient care in accordance with State and Federal rules, regulations, and nursing standards of care. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive health assessments, diagnosing conditions, formulating and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management are conducted in close collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
As an employee of Enticare PC, the Nurse Practitioner will deliver specialized care within otolaryngology (ENT), sleep medicine, and allergy health.

Essential Responsibilities
- Function independently to perform age-appropriate histories and physical examinations for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patients' age-specific needs.
- Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
- Assist with the provision of surgical care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor the effectiveness of clinical interventions and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and initiate appropriate referrals.
- Facilitate staff, patient, and family decision-making by providing educational resources and tools.
- Model professionalism, responsibility, and integrity in all clinical practices.
Requirements
- Current Arizona Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Arizona Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) licensure.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Current active DEA registration or eligibility.
- Current NPI number or eligibility.
- Eligibility for hospital privileges.
