Asante Ashland Seeks a Manager, Emergency Department to join their team in Ashland, Oregon!

The Position

The Manager, Emergency Department will provide operational and nursing leadership for the Emergency Department at Asante Ashland, supporting approximately 35 patients each day.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, with a dotted-line relationship to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will partner with the Director on departmental decisions and oversee a small, well-staffed team.
Key priorities include establishing clear expectations and accountability, mentoring staff, coordinating resources, and providing stability following several leadership transitions. This leader will guide change thoughtfully while maintaining the department’s close-knit, family-like environment.
The ideal candidate will be a decisive, collaborative emergency nursing leader who can build trust with an engaged team and address performance concerns directly. Strong change management experience will be critical, as will a desire to build a lasting presence in Ashland.
Requirements

BSN required.
Active RN license required.
A minimum of five years of progressive nursing leadership experience in an Emergency Department required.
Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) certification and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.

Asante Ashland is a satellite campus of Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Oregon. Located in Ashland, it provides emergency, diagnostic, and outpatient care to the community.
Services at Asante Ashland include a 24/7 Emergency Department, outpatient surgery, laboratory, imaging, and cardiopulmonary services.

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center is a 378-bed regional referral and trauma center. Its services include nationally recognized heart and stroke care, cancer care, orthopedics, and the region’s only neonatal intensive care unit.
