Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an exceptional and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neonatology team at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, located within Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, N.J. As the first and most comprehensive provider of pediatric care in Monmouth and Ocean counties, our #1 ranked Children's Hospital in New Jersey is equipped with a state-of-the-art 48-bed, Level III-C NICU. In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of neonatal care, blending your clinical expertise with collaborative teamwork to ensure the highest standards of patient outcomes for our most vulnerable patients and their families.

Core Clinical Duties & Privileges:
- Attend high-risk deliveries to provide immediate neonatal assessment, stabilization, and resuscitation.
- Assess, diagnose, prescribe, and perform specialized procedures for critically ill neonates.
- Develop and manage comprehensive care plans in collaboration with an experienced team of neonatologists.
- Manage patients using advanced respiratory modalities, including high-frequency oscillators, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation.
- Provide continuous 24-hour in-house coverage alongside a dedicated team of three providers at all times.
- Collaborate seamlessly with pediatric subspecialists, respiratory therapists, dedicated neonatal pharmacists, dieticians, and RNs to deliver highly coordinated care.

Required Qualifications for NP:
- Licensure: Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner (NP) License.
- Certification: NNP Certification (or eligible to obtain).
- Life Support Certifications:
American Heart Association (AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) HCP Certification.
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
Required Qualifications for PA:
- Licensure: Active New Jersey Physician Assistant (PA) License.
- Experience/Education: Completion of a dedicated Neonatal Fellowship.
- Life Support Certifications:
American Heart Association (AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) HCP Certification.
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
COMPENSATION:
Minimum Starting Base Salary: $160,763.20
