Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, measuring vital signs, and assist with rooming patients
Administer medications, injections, and assist with in office procedures following strict safety protocols and medical documentation standards.
Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Athenahealth to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Provide wound care and assist with diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection and processing.
Apply critical thinking in triage situations, notify patients with results, education and counseling of patients on management plans developed by the providers.
Respond to patient and pharmacy phone messages or requests in a timely fashion.

Requirements
Valid nursing license (LPN or RN) with current certification in CPR/BLS; additional certifications such as ACLS is a plus.
Obstetrics and Gynecology or Women's health experience preferred
Weight management and or family medicine experience a plus
Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments including
Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems, Athenahealth experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and infection control protocols.
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining compassionate patient communication and caregiver collaboration.
Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and upholding clinical confidentiality policies in all interactions.
