Description
Sigma Surgical is seeking a BC/BE Surgical Critical Care–trained surgeon to join an established, physicianowned trauma and acute care surgery group at a busy Level II Trauma Center in North Dallas. This is a highvolume clinical practice with a strong focus on trauma and emergency general surgery.
The ideal candidate is comfortable managing complex emergency general surgery, performing independent operative management across the full breadth of acute care surgery, and exercising strong clinical judgment in fastpaced environments. The practice offers a substantial guaranteed compensation component, full benefits, and meaningful productivitybased upside with 90thpercentile earning potential.
This role is wellsuited for both graduating fellows and experienced trauma/SCC surgeons seeking a busy operative practice, significant time away from the hospital, and compensation that rewards productivity.
Requirements
- BoardCertified or BoardEligible in General Surgery
- Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care
- Ability to independently manage:

- Trauma surgery (Level II)
- Emergency general surgery
- Broad acute care surgery caseload
- Strong operative capability and clinical judgment
- Comfort with highvolume, highacuity clinical environments
- Willingness to participate in:
- 7 to 8 inhouse 24hour primary call shifts per month
- Backup call coverage
- Eligibility for Texas medical licensure
