Job details:
Position: RN – ECMO Specialist SNSNSN
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Shift: Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks
• Provide 1:1 care as an ECMO Specialist managing patients requiring advanced cardiac and respiratory support.
• Operate and monitor ECMO systems (Spectrum and Centrimag) to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support critically ill patients across NICU, PICU, and CICU settings.
• Assess patient response and adjust ECMO parameters in collaboration with physicians.
• Manage patients with respiratory and/or cardiac failure as a bridge to recovery or transplant.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
• Float to other units when no ECMO patients are present.

Requirements:
• Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)
• AHA BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ECMO Specialist / pump management experience
• Proven experience managing ECMO systems independently
• Ability to work in high-acuity critical care environments
• Willingness to float within hospital as needed
• Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Strong background in NICU, PICU, or CICU
