Job Title: RN - Operating Room Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 11.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years OR experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - Minimum of 2 years OR experience. - General surgery experience. - Robotic experience. Description: Travel opportunity for an RN in the Operating Room. The position is for a main operating room and anesthesia tech. The unit has 30 operating rooms plus 3 lithotripsy suites. The staff consists of approximately 130 team members. Day shift includes 1 RN charge, around 30 RNs, 25 CSTs, 5 PCTs, and 5 anesthesia techs. Night shift consists of 1 RN charge and 1 CST. Patient ratios are 1:1. The unit utilizes advanced equipment including Da Vinci Robot, Mako Robot, and Rosa Robot. Common procedures performed include general surgery, GYN, urology surgery, orthopedic (no spine), plastics, and pediatric general and orthopedic cases. Candidates are preferred to have neuro and transplant experience. The ideal candidate should possess a flexible and positive attitude. Call is required unless the candidate is working weekend or night shifts. Assistance with holiday coverage may be necessary.
