Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Espanola, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,529 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Espanola, New Mexico, 87532! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0630 starts Hours per Shift: 8 or 10 hours Experience: Minimum two (2) years current experience required in a large operating room; must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. License: State Nursing License Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred. Must-Have: Candidate must be able to scrub; must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by a physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of licensed practical nurses and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes patient population, age-specific, procedure and protocol education, and competency testing per unit standards. Floating between departments and locations within 20 miles is required. Epic experience is preferred, but training can be provided on-site.
